We are back from Georgia where we found my former husband. The judge ordered him to be incarcerated until he can perg himself. This dead beat dad didn't pay any child support except for $279.00 with over $110,000.00 owing and fled to the United States.
His current wife was also requested to appear but she too was a no show. Well when the judge found out that he was residing in his county he ordered the Sheriff's to go and get him. Amazing on how an hour later, low and behold in came through the back door, my former husband not only in handcuffs but in chains as well to boot. For some reason the former husband wasn't too happy to see us. We guess he thought that I couldn't go after him for none payment of child support while he was hiding in Georgia. Well, the judge domesticated the court order to Georgia and granted a few other things.
We love Judge Marvin Sorrells. He is an amazing judge and for being retired he sure does a wonderful job.
We also feel that the current wife is just as bad for hiding a dead beat dad. I don't know how anyone can be married to a dead beat parent not question them selves to why would anyone want to be with a dead beat parent?
We were surprised to find him listed in the Covington Blog as well as the Covington News for his incarceration. Also how anyone could access his mug shot as well as his charges listed on the web as well.
We refused the first offer and are awaiting for another reasonable offer. I wonder if any other parent has gone through this trying to catch a dead beat parent in another country?
